About the project
Designed for both beginners and experienced freedivers, our app seeks to offer a comprehensive toolkit for exploring the depths of the ocean. Keeping track of past dive stats, discovering new dive spots, accessing safety guidelines, and staying connected with the community. Whether to improve one's skills, plan the next adventure, or simply connect with fellow freedivers, Freediver will be a trusted companion beneath the waves.
Inspired by our own challenges freediving around the world, we set out to build an all-in-one platform that consolidates the features of many other apps, as well as brand new features currently only available for the scuba diving community. We also want to create a place for the online community to come together and share dive experiences and dive sites.
Project results
At the onset, we agreed that one of the features of this app would be an enjoyable and attractive interface that is intuitive and efficient. Most of the apps in this niche are functional but awkward and unpleasing to the eye. A big challenge would be not to neglect this aspect as development progresses.
This project is still in development. We are currently aiming to release an MVP for the second half of 2024.
