Frontend Developper → Junior UX/UI Designer
The challenge
Fanslab contains not only a broad set of features - including an integrated chat, forums, video streaming and uploads, and a forum - but also various types of users with different roles and priviledges. The goal was to take this expansive product and create a holistic and comprehensive experience for the user, while allowing for a customizable themes.
Project results
Through multiple iterations informed by customer requests and user feedback, we managed to build a seamless experience from one feature to the next. I created a comprehensive branding library and a coherent user flow.
As a Junior UX/UI Designer
- Rebuilt entire platform’s interface and functionalities in order to better suit client needs
- Designed feature that uses client’s brand colours to generate a custom UI theme.
- Optimized user engagement through feature redesigns.
- Conceived and maintained a new comprehensive design system.
- Produced presentational material used to secure new clients.
As a Front-end Developer
- Built maintainable code for responsive components using Javascript (React), CSS, HTML.
- Worked closely with backend team to streamline updates
- Optimized user engagement by designing intuitive platform features.
- Collaborated with the UI designer to verify that designs were technologically sound and how to move forward with integration.
